Wyatt “Monarch” Kaneshiro started making beats and writing lyrics in their high school years, and what started as a hobby with friends turned into a burning passion for music and dance. Several mixtape and EP releases in their late teen years found Monarch landing numerous songwriting credits for and leading the Hawai’i based boygroup, CROSSING RAIN. With a sound based in hip hop and dance music, Monarch’s mission is for CROSSING RAIN to move people on the dance floor and in their hearts.
